About the Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences

Unique Program

TROY鈥檚 Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences is the only one of its kind in Alabama. It is offered through TROY Online and consists of 33 credit hours, which can be completed in two years full time. There is no GRE requirement, and the classes are in convenient 9-week online terms consisting of live Teams meetings once a week in FLEX format, which means the meetings are recorded to access later.

Not only are students exposed to unique courses, such as Specialties in Statistics and Discrete Mathematics taught by specialists in these fields; there is also the opportunity for hands-on projects in either the thesis or end-of-program project.

Dr. Ken Roblee received degrees from the University of Alabama (B.S.) and Auburn University (M.S., Ph.D.). His primary research area is Graph Theory. He enjoys mentoring student research projects, and advising the Mathematics Club and chapter of the national mathematics honor society. He primarily teach mathematics major and minor courses.
