The student must complete a six-hour General Studies sequence in Literature or History. This sequence must be within the same content areas for the selected discipline (i.e., six hours in American Literature or six hours in World History). Some major programs specify this sequence. The student should consult the listing of specialized criteria for the selected major.
Some programs, majors or minors may have specialized general studies requirements. Consult the descriptions of these programs in this Catalog for information.
